The Wayne County Community Foundation is very pleased to welcome two new members to its board of directors, Jon Kline and Ray Hamill. Their terms commence at the Foundation’s September board meeting.

NEPA Circle of Aunts and Uncles microloan recipients

The Wayne County Community Foundation is excited to announce their first round of NEPA Circle of Aunts and Uncles microloan recipients! Meet Raymond Collins from Newfoundland. Ray is the founder of Kaizen Snacks, a small-scale operation producing healthy and flavorful nut and fruit snacks. Ray began his business in 2014 and has been slowly growing ever since. When the time came to make a push for expansion, Ray applied to the NEPA Circle of Aunts and Uncles. Ray will be using his loan to increase the capacity of his commercial kitchen. WCCF Announces Quarter 3 Recipients

The Wayne County Community Foundation is proud to announce their third quarter grants for 2021/2022. The Board of Directors approved these requests totaling $26,900 at their March board meeting. Recipients of grant funding this quarter include Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary, the Equinunk Historical Society, Farm Arts Collective, the Harmony Presents Foundation, and the Dyberry Creek Music Festival.

Michael Bryant Memorial Fund Present 2022 Grants

The Michael J. Bryant Memorial Fund will award up to $10,000 in grants to support persons with disabilities or nonprofit community organization projects this spring. Established in June 2008, the Memorial Fund has distributed more than $51,000 to local individuals and organizations. It continues to grow with contributions from family, friends and the upcoming 10th annual Herd the Curd 5K race, Saturday, September 3, 2022. Administered by the Wayne County Community Foundation, this is the tenth consecutive year the Fund will award community grants.
